Haiki Metals is the division of the Haiki+ Group dedicated to the production of lead and lead alloys through the recycling of end-of-life batteries.
Haiki Metals oversees the entire recycling value chain, from the treatment of spent batteries and lead-bearing waste to the smelting and refining of metals, through the following core activities:
Haiki Metals’ mission is to strengthen the domestic lead recycling value chain by ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality materials to partner battery manufacturers operating nationally. The company is committed to reducing reliance on imported raw materials while fostering a tangible and efficient circular economy.
Smelting and refining of metallic fractions for the production of soft lead and lead alloys, meeting stringent international standards and certified quality requirements for the automotive and industrial sectors.
Recovery and processing of plastics derived from spent batteries, transformed into high-quality polymer compounds as sustainable alternatives to virgin materials. These activities are carried out through the Politec plant in Pieve di Cento (BO), part of the Haiki+ Group.
Continuous process optimization, enhanced energy efficiency, and responsible production cycle management in full compliance with environmental standards.
Haiki Metals operates through three wholly owned facilities located in Lombardy, Campania, and Emilia-Romagna.
